Real Men Don't Rape: a poem by Joshua Olson
A broken rose
a broken cherry
a minute of trauma
a life time of anguish
a strong mother
broken into tears
Before her child's eyes
a teenage girl
broken down
with a bloody razor in her hand
a child's broken innocence
from a corrupt adult desires
just a view
into the many victims
of a victim less crime
because they rarely speak out
to afraid to seek help
to seek the justice
that rarely
seems to come
